UMBRELLA PROJECT

What if an ordinary object could become a portal to another world? THE UMBRELLA PROJECT is a research-driven exploration of 3D audio and spatial projection mapping, designed to create immersive experiences without disconnecting participants from reality. By transforming umbrellas into interactive canvases, we bring an imaginary world to life—one that seamlessly coexists with our own.

Using a layered approach, we project visuals both inside and outside the umbrella while enveloping the space in dynamic 3D sound. This fusion of sight and sound allows participants to navigate through sonic landscapes and interactive environments where their movements influence the audiovisual experience. The umbrella is not just a passive object; it becomes a bridge between the physical and the virtual—a tool for both exploration and transformation where the line between real and imagined blurs, inviting participants to step into a world that responds, evolves, and resonates with them.
